About Family PALS

Williams Funeral Home was established in 1935 and purchased by Alan Blevins in 1982. Alan’s daughter Lauren grew up in the funeral home business and after graduating from Belmont University decided to follow in her father’s footsteps. Over the years friends and family inquired about services for their pets. Lauren’s love for animals was the inspiration for Family Pals.

Family Pals goals is to assist pet owners in dealing with the loss of their loved one and to provide a dignified service that will help bring closure. The Blevins family and staff are committed to making these difficult decisions easier for all pet owners. You are welcome to bring your pet to our facility or we can send an experienced staff member to your home.

Being a part of the funeral industry allows us to offer the highest level of care for your pet. We use a pet crematory that is the same as a human crematory, just smaller. While most other providers will cremate pets in a barrel or incinerator, we provide unique and private cremation services for pets.

Your furry friend matters deeply to us and they won’t be placed in a communal cremation, instead they will have their own individual cremation in the best facilities and will promptly be returned to your care.

Whether you are a pet owner or one of our veterinarian partners we are committed to the highest standards available for pet cremation.

Our staff is available to you 24 hours a day at 931-388-6868.

Not sure if we serve your family?

We serve all furry and feathered friends. We provide services for every animal from goats, iguanas, and guinea pigs to snakes, llamas, alpacas, and even emotional support groundhogs.

We also provide services for ponies, donkeys, and horses. Family PALS is the only local crematory big enough to do so. Call us at 931-388-6868 for any questions or to ask about our burial options.
