IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Ula

Allen

Obituary

Ula! What can we say about our beautiful and derpy kitty?! She was a catloaf full of affection, love, fire, and ferocity. She became part of our family many years ago and quickly became a comfort, a loyal friend, a faithful companion, a best friend to our sons, a Culver’s burger lover, a baby-sized baby, a household manager, a mom to 6 kittens, a Christmas tree climber, a Grandma-sitter, a human lap supervisor, a 3 a.m. meower, a protective guardian, and the best cat of all time wrapped up in one tiny being.

When Ula wasn’t napping in the picture windows or cuddling with one of her beloved boys while being mercilessly showered with kisses, she was busy scaring dogs and other cats off the property, skulking through the tall grasses with bunnies and bugs under a moonlit sky, or taking unannounced extended adventures in the wild for kicks and giggles—much to the dismay of her family. Yet she always came home, miraculously unharmed.

After enjoying a blessed 16-year life filled with robust health, Ula and her strong will battled valiantly against a late diagnosis of CKD. She chose, on her terms, to peacefully leave this world on June 2, 2026, under a warm, breezy blue sky filled with puffy clouds, resting in her favorite spot on the back porch. She was surrounded by butterflies, bees, and her most cherished humans as they lovingly bid her farewell.

Today, she is reunited in Heaven with her feline best friend and sister, Ayanna, and her human grandma, Aysen.

We will miss and love you forever, dear friend.

XOXO,

Eric, Kathy, Josh, Jacob, Eli, and Linda
