Piper Lee McKennon

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Piper Lee McKennon on Sunday evening, October 6, 2024. Piper was a beloved family member and was loved more than she could ever know. She spent her days side-eyeing and quietly judging every person or animal that she was around. She loved going to doggy daycare while mom and dad worked. In the short five and a half years with us, she mastered the art of ignoring us daily. She always heard us; she just chose to ignore us—unless food was involved. We all know that at the end of the day, she would have traded any one of us for a pork rind or a Little Debbie snack cake. Without a doubt, we know how much she loved us, and we find comfort in knowing that she also knew how much we loved her.

Piper leaves to cherish her memories: her mom and dad, Tony and Emily; her older human siblings, Justin, Samantha, and Sierra; and her little fur brother, Jake.

There will never be another Piper, and our hearts will never be whole again.
