Ole George Washington

George was adopted by the Weatherspoon family after he wandered, frail and thin, into their yard. He was an old guy when he came to the family so his time with them was only 3 years but in those 3 years he made a huge impact. His heart was made of love even though people had failed him so badly. His eyes were always filled with innocence and he was always grateful. His favorite things were head pats and food. George’s final years were spent in fields of green grass with his sisters Oakley and Sunny. In his final moments, he was surrounded by family and friends. He left this world being reminded of how much he was loved and what a good boy he was.
