Gus Burrito Smithson

Gus Burrito Smithson born 9/20/2013 passed away peacefully on 11/16/2025 at his home.

Gus spent his first few days as a newborn puppy under the loving care of Russell Rescue. He was quickly taken into the home of Kyle and Brittany Smithson at 10 days old and later adopted by them. He spent 12 wonderful years as a beloved part of the family.

Gus was the model purebred Jack Russell Terrier. His good looks, boundless energy, bullish attitude, and the affection he displayed brought joy to his household. His favorite activities were going on walks, chasing a ball, jumping, eating, napping, and being his Mom's shadow and best friend. Gus was a sensitive boy who was very intuitive to human emotions. He was a wonderful companion and friend.

Gus leaves behind his parents, fellow adoptive brothers Griffin and Gibby, as well as his human brothers Connor and Callum. Gus was loved by many other family members and close friends. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
