Duke, our beloved family dog and Noah’s best friend, passed away during the night on October 3, 2026, at five years old.

Duke shared some of Noah’s most special growing-up years. He loved playing in the snow with Noah, and those happy winter moments will always be among our favorite memories. Just as precious were the quieter moments—Noah holding him close, cuddling together on the bed, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

Our photographs tell the story of their friendship: Duke’s sweet face in the snow, Noah’s arms wrapped around him, and the closeness they shared through the years. Whether they were playing outside or spending time together at home, Duke was a treasured part of Noah’s world.

Duke leaves behind Noah and a family who loved him deeply. Five years was nowhere near enough, but the memories he gave us will stay with us for a lifetime.
