Axl was handpicked from a litter of puppies in Town Creek, AL. He was the runt of his litter but you would never know it to see him full grown at a whopping 74lbs.
He loved to nook any fleece blanket he could get a hold of, his rubber chicken, any type of food..specifically mashed potatoes, and most of all his family.
Axl was recently diagnosed with oral cancer. Even on his worst days he still made his family smile and wanted to be right beside them. He was sure to send them signs to know when it was time. His family has enjoyed spoiling him for his 8 years of life.
He will be terribly missed by his parents, Jeff and Jessica, siblings Sophie, Maggie, and Conner as well as his fur siblings Bernie, Ruby, and Ruth. He is also survived by his two cat siblings he probably wouldn’t claim Rocket and Gypsy.
Our hearts are so broken but we will forever cherish all of our pictures, videos, and memories.
The family sends a special thank you to Maury County Vet, Salt and Light House Call Vet, and Family Pals at Williams Funeral home for all of their compassion and professionalism during this difficult time.
